The motion detectors are somehow the eyes and ears of your alarm system. There are several different technologies to perform detection:
• The infrared sensor detects this type of movement of body heat. The sensor emits infrared light and triggers the alert when one or more beams are cut
• The microwave: This technology makes detection more effective. A microwave sensor is able to discern, through radar, any body movement that is hot or cold.
• The bivolumétrique also called dual technology combines a microwave radar and a passive infrared detector.
