Power cable R2V with rigid copper core with 3 conductors 1.50 mm ², 1 conductor green / yellow. PVC outer sheath of black color. The R2V power cable (specifically U1000R2V ) is recommended by EDF rigid electrical cable. Used for fixed installations of 230 volts energy distribution in the home , it can also be used outdoors , buried with extra mechanical protection (sheath ) . The RO2V cable ( its former name ) can be installed on cable tray , inside baseboards, ducting , trunking and fixed to the walls or moldings . It can be installed directly in crawlspaces . Considered THE universal cable, RO2V cable is used by electricians for domestic electricity supply, to connect an electrical panel at circuit breaker or to connect to the table and made the switch to light bulbs. It also provides the electrical connection between between a main house and other premises ( garden shed , garage , porch , outbuildings, ... ) . It complies with standard NF C 32-321 .
