Surge detector are designed to protect your electrical installations against surges due to atmospheric phenomena (e.g the lightning) or industrial causes (manipulation surge, inductive charge switching, etc). In regions where storms are frequent, it is strongly recommended to install additional systems. The extra cost of materials and fitting involved, is always more than compensated for by greater immunity, which limits on site work and avoids premature degradation of electronic cicuits. Don’t wait for that expensive catastrophe before doing something! The maximum current charges (maximum intensity charges shock) have been tested with a 1.250µs supply pulse charge and 8/20µs on current.

The 4PSFR offers essential protection to your computer installation from lightning and surge. Within the same case, there is the surge protector, the filters, the circuit breaker and the dischargers in order to ensure adequate protection and correct functioning. To protect your computing equipment, plug it into the adapter using the special RS232 connectors. A switch with an indicator light and two warning lights monitor the unit. A 10A cutout protects the whole system against sudden violent surges. This adapter resists a current flow of 1 500 Amps. Length of supply cord: 1,70m. ABS case designed to take four 220Vac plugs + 2 computer RS232 connectors.
