AC200~240V Self-Regulating Heating Cable for Water Pipes, Anti-freeze Heating System with EU Plug
This self-regulating heating cable is widely used in fire protection, petroleum, chemical, iron and steel, and power industries, etc., to keep pipes and tanks warm and prevent frost damage, as well as to prevent snow melting on roofs and gutters.

A uniform PTC core strip is sandwiched between the two parallel metal bars. When the two busbars at one end of the cable are connected to the power source, current flows laterally from one busbar through the PTC material layer to the other.

The PTC layer is a resistance heating element continuously connected in parallel between busbars to convert electrical energy into heat. The resistance of the central strip increases with temperature, reaching approximately 65 degrees Celsius. At this point, the resistance is so high that it almost completely blocks the current, and the temperature of the central strip reaches its upper limit, no longer rising but automatically limiting the temperature.

The self-limiting temperature-limiting heating belt maintains a uniform temperature, does not overheat, saves electrical energy, and heats up quickly. It can be cut to length and used in any configuration, and can be overlapped or crossed.

- 1. The cable is designed to protect domestic water pipes and solar water systems from freezing in winter, maintaining the water temperature in the pipes above 0 degrees Celsius and does not require a controller.

- 2. The cable is very easy to install and is suitable for both metal and plastic water pipes.

- 3. We use pure copper as the conductor and PE sheathing, which is durable, UV-resistant, and superior to PVC sheathing.

NOTE:

1. This cable is securely connected and sealed; it is waterproof. You can plug it directly into a 220V outlet for immediate use! 2. Two types of standard European plugs are sent randomly, with only slight color differences. You can check the photos.

Installation:
1) Wrap the heating cable around the water pipes or attach it directly to the pipes; both are fine. Wrap the entire cable around the pipes and secure it every 30-60 cm with heat-shrink tubing or aluminum tape (sold in my store).

2) It is suggested to wrap a layer of rubber insulation around the pipe to improve the heating cable's efficiency, save energy, and protect the heating cables.

3) Plug into a 220-240V power supply. The heating system is complete.
